JNS.org The gravestones of a Jewish cemetery in the Belarusian town of Brest have been used as construction material for the past several years, the Daily Mail reported over the weekend.

“The headstones have been turning up in locations all over Brest over the past six years, with around 1,500 discovered so far,” the newspaper said.

In May, hundreds of gravestones were uncovered during the construction of a new supermarket. Debra Brunner, co-director of a charity that operates in the area, said she was shocked when she learned of this practice.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” she said. “It was bizarre. They were everywhere. The builders were very kind, though, and concerned and wanted to know what they should do with them.”

The gravestones were taken from a cemetery vandalized during the Soviet era, and residents were apparently unaware of the purpose the stones served. According to the report, residents recently approached a local priest to inquire about the nature of the gravestones and were told to refrain from harming the artifacts because of their religious significance.

Ah humans, you have squandered your inheritance. You were given the Garden Of Eden and all that you could eat or need.
But it was not enough, you wanted more. And, now you have more. More toys to occupy your empty lives, you gouge yourselves on more but it is still not enough. Never enough. You have fowled the sky, the water and the land. You have discovered new and faster ways to disseminate your hate and as it is with all things, there will be a price to be paid. You don’t know it, but the curse is already upon you.

After reading about the head stones nothing surprizes me. What I have to say now is, if any JEW worth his/her salt does not arm themselves, YES, arm themselves is what I said, then I have no pitty. You all talk about the past, the Holocaust and you remember what was done to the UNARMED JEWS, they were beaten into the ground! Get training from the IDF and arm yourself and do not let another Holocaust take roots. Everyone in Sweden must have a firearm and they train continuously. The government will NEVER overthrow
their citizens. JEWS, where ever you are, even in the United States, arm yourself and become proficient. Practice on a monthly basis and follow the laws, rules and regulations where you are at. Always remember, never bring a knife to a gun fight. At the time of the Holocaust no one had guns, therefore, the JEWS never stood a chance. I wish every JEW the best of everything and may there never be another Holocaust. This comes from a Southern California JEW with 32 years of law enforcement. I wish I could train you all in order to protect yourselves. Shalom

    Greetings —
I was stationed in Hanau (east of Frankfurt aM). I noticed a hedge at a place marked for dog training for about 2 years. My curiosity encouraged me to look further. When I made it through the hedge, I found a Jewish cemetery overrun with weeds. I then purchased several tools and herbicides to reduce the overgrown weeds. I found more tombstones as I worked. I did this for about a year, cutting back more and more weeds. I also left dog repellent to deter the dogs from fouling the cemetery. On my last trip there, I met an elderly German man. I explained what I had been doing. It turns out that he had just started doing the same thing. I gave him my tools and 50 DM to purchase anything else he needed. He refused the money but accepted the tools. That was in 1982. I have gone back a couple of times since then and noticed that others have kept the area realy clean. But vandals (anti-semitism) still pervade as a couple of the tombstones had been damaged recently. It could have been simple hooligans or anti-semitism. Take your pick. As for the Middle East, the hatred is so thick, you can feel it.

This leaves a terrible taste in one’s mouth and in one’s heart.
How could anyone not know what that smell was coming from the crematorias? Visited Auschwitz Death Camp in 1989, and it is right there in the town’s outskirts, and Treblinka Station is still named that in 1989 – This was simply an extermination camp – no labour – just death!

The tiny State of Israel, has enemies all around and others try to hide their anti-semitism. We owe the Jewish People so much, they have made this earth a better place for all, and what do they get in return? Hate and Death.

Sofia; In the end of times God has said that Israel will be a stone around the neck of it’s enemies. It sure seems like it is now, so we don’t have to wait much longer for our Lord to return and set things right. Be at peace, those buried there know nothing, but for the families of those who are being dishonored, my heart is with them.

YOU CAN’T CONVINCE ME THAT THE LOCALS DIDN’T KNOW WHAT THE STONES WERE OR WHERE THEY CAME FROM.

I’M SURE THE “PRIEST” ALSO SAW THEM AND SAID AND DID NOTHING.

THE MORE THINGS CHANGE THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME.

I was in Brest last October. There are hundreds of Jewish gravestones strewn about in a big pile behind a fence near the old fort (behind the fort in a separate building but on the grounds.People just walk right by it. I can supply pictures on request.

“…and residents were apparently unaware of the purpose the stones served.”

Like the Nazi Filth downwind of the death camps had no idea why the smoke spewing from the ovens stank so bad?

    Bul-l-l-l-l-l SCHIT-T-T-T-T-T!!!

Passersby have silemtly ignored Hebrew-lettered outer walls of East European homes, schools and churches since the end of the Second World War and its Shoah closed 70 years ago.

Such ignorance signals the Holocaust is only sleeping.

Putin….God wants you to read Zachariah 12: 1, 3, and 9….things will go well for Russia if they take heed to Zachariah’s warnings. Scripture is only scoffed at by the Islamic heathen and they will pay a price for it…that will be the complete destruction of their supposed religion and the Demise of their civilization. It would behoove you to give China a Zacchariah “heads up”.

Repentance for someone else fault is an old biblical practice. Nehemiah wept over what had happened to Jerusalem, he also fasted over their current circumstance. It is good to see that the people of Brest are seeking the right way to act over this matter.
One cannot describe what evil was in the thoughts of those who sought to desecrate even the graves of these Jewish people.
May the various authorities find the correct way to deal with this matter even as the priest did when the temple alter was desecrated by Antiochus IV Epiphanes that man of extreme evil. May G-d bless them in this matter.

Why am I not surprised ? ………….and its happening again all over the world everyday . My Zeida’s gravestone was vandalized in here in South Africa last year ……….lest we forget !

  • I was told by a couple who went to Poland to see the grave of their parents that the gravestones from the Jewish cemetery were used to make the stepping stones of the Catholic cemetery, so what is new in Belarus?
At least in Poland they cannot display swastikas.

People doing this to headstones should be shot on site or publically hung when found.

When it comes to France, though, nothing surprises me. I have zero sympathy for them or Britain. Read Caroline Glick’s book The Israeli Solution and how she exposes how Britain helped facilitate the Jewish Holocaust.

There is absolutely nothing new about the desecration and destruction of Jewish cemeteries in Europe. What is amazing is that the residents feigned ignorance, as if they had never seen gravestones being desecrated before.
