In the pictured drop-down menu on the Middle East portion of the Tefal website's "Where to buy" section, "Palestine" is listed as an option, but Israel does not appear. Photo: Tefal website. – The French kitchenware company Tefal, which is known for its nonstick pans, is directing customers to “Palestine” for a store that is located in Israel.

Although Tefal’s Jerusalem store is located in the Atarot industrial zone, which is not under Palestinian sovereignty, the drop-down menu for the Middle East portion of the Tefal website’s “Where to buy“ section lists “Palestine” as an option, but not “Israel.”

Newpan, the company that imports Tefal products to Israel, said the website issue “will be handled as soon as possible,” Israel Hayom reported.

I received a surprising response from T-Fal & did check their site & they have corrected the “situation.” Just thought you should know. Of course we will never look at their products in the same way again…. Here is the response: “Over the last few days, we have received several comments regarding the “TEFAL” Middle-East website and we are aware that the “Where to Buy our Products” section was not accurate. We want to assure you that our intention is first and foremost to satisfy our customers wherever they are located and we thank you for helping to bring this to our attention. We have immediately rectified the situation. We invite our customers to return back to the modified website.”

The store is not located in Israel. It is located on the Palestinian Territory north of eastern-Jerusalem in Aterot Industrial zone which was build in territory occupied by Israel in 1967.
This is very clear on any map of the region

Now the where to buy lists neither “Palestine” nor Israel. They are really trying their upmost to not include Israel.
