The deal must be approved by the German parliament’s budget committee, which will lead to the finalization of a contract by the end of the year, said German government spokesman Steffen Seibert, Reuters reported.

The warships deal is the latest German government contribution to the Israeli purchase of military equipment, such as submarines, as part of Germany’s commitment to the Jewish state’s security in the wake of the Holocaust.

  • German people and Jews have a great culture historical deep relation which will stay in memory of man. Germany contribution to Israel is beyond the Holocaust! When man study history of men, man find out that the Holocaust belongs to a sort historical period event which actually contradict the roots of German culture.. In fact when Germany did a test checking the submarines before delivering in the North Sea using Norway locations, Norway government under Jens Stoltenberg at that time was against it. Germany had to move the submarine out of Norway territorial sea! About it, I did read about in the Norwegian news paper Aftenposten. Check it out!
