JTA – A Saudi-backed school in Vienna that allegedly used an anti-Jewish textbook was ordered to close after it refused to disclose information about its staff.

The Austrian capital’s school board announced Tuesday that it decided to shut down the Saudi School Vienna after it ignored a Dec. 1 deadline to provide the names of its teaching and administrative staff. Supplying a list of staff is a basic requirement for all private schools in Austria.

  • A few years back a Govt schools inspector in London found in a Saudi-backed school a set of books that said Jews and Christians are descended from monkeys and pigs. When challenged, the head of the school replied that they skipped that chapter !!! More recently in Birmingham a group of Islamists tried to take over govt schools in a mainly Muslim neighbourhood. Four headteachers resigned following death threats and many non-Muslim class teachers were harrassed out of their jobs. The Govt is now making required changes. Liberal democracy and Islamists don’t go well together.
