Politicians worry about cutting cost in the interest of tax payers? I would offer some good places to cut cost. Billions is wasted by spending defense funds on golf courses at bases all over the USA and many foreign nations. Is the defense department required by the Constitution to provide golfers to defend the USA?Is golf a skill needed in the defense of the USA?What has golf to do with the art of battle? Turn those golf courses into places to operate armored and infantry units. Put the savings into funds to help the soldiers families.Take the golf clubs away from the officers.Give them a rifle and send them into the front of the men fighting so they can see how their planning works out in the war zones. Cut the military aircraft use for the commander in chief to take golfing vacations wasting millions of tax dollars.Let him pay the transportation for vacations to get a feel of what the taxpayers do. Live in OUR world and pay your own way. Only then you will know how to spend OUR money.
