Arutz Sheva – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a special meeting ahead of the cold front and storm expected to hit Jerusalem Tuesday and Wednesday, along with Mayor Nir Barkat, Jerusalem District Police Commander Moshe Edri, and representatives of the Israel Electric Company (IEC), the IDF, welfare institutions, and rescue agencies.

”I am impressed by the work done here by the various authorities to coordinate and prepare for the storm,” Netanyahu stated. “We have three tasks: first – saving lives; second – maintaining essential services; third -encouraging residents to help other residents.”

    Now,I read about the poor jobless Jews on the streets,I wonder if anyone checked on them?Some rabbi should get his congregation together and bring them some firewood. This is something King Soloman instructed to be done.

    It is good that you have a leader of Israel who spent time as a commando. They learn to contend with the real world and put a high value on the people they work with .Of the ordinary citizen of the nation.This benefits all the citizen and decisions are based upon solutions to real world problems that ordinary citizen face each day. He is not an elitist desk sitting golfer. We are not so fortunate in the USA.
