JNS.org – Father Gabriel Nadaf, who advocates for Christian enlistment into the IDF as the spiritual leader of the Israeli Christian Recruitment Forum, has raised concerns with Israeli Teachers’ Union Chairman Yossi Wasserman and the Israeli Education Ministry about an Arabic-language union pamphlet distributed to teachers that includes a story encouraging readers to harm Israeli soldiers.

In a complaint, Nadaf wrote, “To my astonishment, I came across the July-August 2014 edition of a pamphlet called the ‘Echo of Education,’ written in Arabic, and published by the Teachers’ Union and funded by the Education Ministry, in which, on Page 26, there is a story more inciting than any Palestinian resistance literature I have seen. … It is a story in which the protagonist is an 8-month-old fetus in the womb of a Palestinian mother, ‘who, like all the other women in the village, stands before wild soldiers armed with lethal weapons.’ The author writes that if the fetus could express itself, it would say, ‘Oh Mother, I am an 8-month-old fetus but I would love to die as a martyr in the struggle against the occupation. I don’t want my mother to die at the hands of the soldiers, which would make me only a passive martyr.”

The head of the planning department at the teachers’ union, Ziyad Majadlah, said the story’s publication was a “grave mistake” that occurred during the editing of the pamphlet.

At Security Council Parley on Middle East, US and Israeli UN Envoys Decry Iranian Regional Provocations

The US and Israeli envoys to the UN slammed Iran's rulers at a Wednesday meeting of the Security Council on...

“The story was published with no intention of malice,” he said. “It is certainly a story that could offer legitimacy to Israel’s enemies who may hurt the country’s citizens. We apologize for this mistake and for its publication.”

The Education Ministry said it did not fund the pamphlet’s publication.

yea, sure we should investigate those vatics,CIA out of israel.I honor Israel from abroad should we deliberate further.?

  • I recently bowed out of the interfaith Holocaust service, because it was a custom to include Hatikvah at the end, but now some Christian groups object as they support the Palestinians and the Muslim Imams would either sit or leave during the Hatikvah. Perhaps interfaith Holocaust programs no longer make sense, at least to me. I do not need the stress of seeing disrespect being afforded to Israel and nor do I wish to compromise by leaving Hatikvah out. The interfaith Holocaust memorials started as well intentioned way for the Jewish people and other groups to pause and reflect on man’s capacity to perpetuate unbelievable cruelty against his fellow and to commiserate as a group and others, with the Jews and hopefully prevent this nightmare from reoccurring .Over the years it was understandably modified to include other victims of genocidal mass killings, though these mass killings were not really analogous, as the Nazis were obsessed at not just killing Jews as a competing group, but Hitler desired to eliminate our creed and it’s pervasive influence on humanity, particularly Christian doxy. As a result of Muslim participation and twisted liberalism, this is morphing into a twisted canard where Israel is being blamed for perpetuating ethnic killings against the Palestinians as the Jews were slaughtered by the Nazis. One can understand the Islamo-Nazis belief system with a quote from the Talmud. We do not see things as they are. We see them as we are. RABBI DR. Where’s the supervision over such things? Where’s the investigation? Where’s the dismissal of those in charge? This thing was published six months ago and nothing has been done.

Our government is not our government. It is a Vatican/CIA installed gov mafia occupation. The mind-boggling incompetence and stupidity is deliberate, as is the constant predation on the Jewish population.
