Telegraph – Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt said on Sunday that Denmark “will do everything” it can to protect the Jewish community in the country as she visited a synagogue attacked hours earlier by a gunman.

A Jewish man was killed and two police officers were wounded in the attack outside the synagogue in the Krstalgade area of Copenhagen, which occurred shortly before 00:00 GMT Sunday.
