Arutz Sheva – Left and right in Israel were on Thursday night united in their opposition to the new framework agreement reached between Iran and six world powers on Tehran’s nuclear program.

Israeli government officials said that the framework deal will be remembered as a “historic mistake”.

    Since the chief adviser to John Kerry in Lausanne was also the chief negotiator for the U.S. in the nuclear talks with Kim Jung IL of North Korea, why should the world be shocked to learn of a similar outcome? Of course the Iranians will eventually agree to some toothless pap and then proceed just, as did North Korea, to make bombs and the missiles to deliver them. The work of this adviser, Ms. Wendy Sherman, now empowered as an Under Secretary of State, was characterized as “appeasement” by James Baker in 1999, and John Bolton concurred, declaring her policy in North Korea was “nothing less than appeasement.” For Mr. Obama’s purposes, she seems the perfect choice.
