France 24 – French President François Hollande on Monday visited the site of a World War II orphanage for Jewish children that was raided by the Nazi Gestapo on April 6, 1944.
Between May 1943 and April 1944, the orphanage at Izieu in the Ain region in southern France took in scores of children fleeing Nazi persecution.
