Paranormal investigators have claimed that a doll they believe to be haunted, and has allegedly caused people to experience migraines and chest pains, may be Jewish and a Holocaust victim, the UK’s Daily Mail reported on Friday.

“A lot of people, including two mediums, have said they feel she has links to the Holocaust and was possibly Jewish,” said British paranormal investigator Jayne Harris. “We have conducted automatic writing sessions with her in which the words ‘star’ and the name ‘David’ came up, so there is possibly a link there.”

Harris runs an organization called Haunted Dolls and has been studying “spirit attachment” since her cousin Kelly’s death in 2000. Her team and members of Haunted Dolls’ social media groups are researching the “Jewish doll” named Peggy, which they claim is inhabited by a spirit, the Daily Mail said.

She said people described having chest pains, nausea, headaches and overwhelming feelings of anxiety after viewing photos and videos of Peggy. Some reported experiencing flashing visions of “mental institutions and treatment bordering on abuse.” Another allegedly suffered a heart attack after seeing a video of Harris and Peggy in a car together.

Harris said close to 80 people have admitted to having “experiences” when seeing photos or videos of Peggy.

Some are small, like computer screens freezing, sharp headaches or a sense of dread, but others are more disturbing,” she explained. “One lady said that when she opened a photograph of Peggy, her computer froze on the picture and the room went cold. She then said she felt someone in the room with her and could hear them moving around. This lady was messaging me at the time via Facebook asking me to quickly advise her on what to do.”

“Another lady yesterday said she had been experiencing light bulbs blowing and a presence in her home after she had been speaking about Peggy,” she added.

The paranormal experiences do not only happen while people are looking at or watching Peggy but afterwards as well, claimed Harris, who admitted to also having migraines and feeling drained after working with the doll. Harris said that after she took Peggy to an isolated area and requested that she “cease her tormenting,” everything went back to normal.

Peggy was sent to Harris recently after her previous owner reported a series of terrifying nightmares, according to the Daily Mail. The previous owner became ill with a fever and suffered hallucinations and decided to get rid of Peggy believing that the doll was the reason behind her sickness.
