A UN official is set to recommend the blacklisting of the Israel Defense Forces. Photo: Twitter. – The United Nations special representative of the secretary-general for children and armed conflict, Leila Zerrougui, is set to recommend the blacklisting of the Israel Defense Forces for regularly causing harm to children. The designation would place the IDF in the same group as terror groups such as Islamic State, Boko Haram, and the Taliban.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is leaning towards leaving Israel off the list—despite heavy lobbying by the Palestinians and pro-Palestinian groups—over concern of damaging the world body’s relationship with the Jewish state.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry slammed the hypocrisy of the world body.

“Israel-haters are threatening the United Nations and no one is complaining about them,” a senior Foreign Ministry official said. “It’s a scandal and it’s hypocrisy. There are unfortunately a lot of situations in which children are killed in zones of conflict and yet no one dares put them on the list. Do you know how many kids the Saudis have killed while bombing Yemen? I want to see the U.N. secretary-general’s Algerian envoy dare to include Saudi Arabia on the list.”

In a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.)—who heads the Senate Appropriations Committee’s subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs—warned the U.N. against continued hostility towards Israel and threatened to cut off U.S. aid to the world body.

Should the UN accepts this recommendation by Ms. Zerrougui, (if she goes ahead with it despite the fact that children are being deliberately placed in jeopardy by Hamas) then the UN will be further marginalizing itself as a source of justice in the quest after world peace.

The UN presence should be expelled from Israel forever. No UN staffer in any capacity or in any capacity of any NGO or any government that functions through the UN should be permitted in Israel. Ever.

Yes. Just how many Yemeni women and children have been killed by Saudi bombing? No questions or pronouncements on “proportionality” and no calls by the talking heads of the EU, BBC, New Yok Times aabout restraint. No running body count. No faked footage. No wailing robed women. No piles of rubble with children on. That’ll all start up when or if Israel respond to a possible ISHITS attack on Eilat. ISHITS will also attack Sharm-el-sheik and then blame Israel which the tosspot left will swallow and regurgitate ad-nauseum. You read it here first.

Ban Ki-moon is only “leaning” towards leaving Israel off the list?! Is Hamas on this list? How about Syria? Right, it is only the defenders against Islamic terrorism who warrant the UN’s indignation. If they follow through, there will be no question the UN has been turned completely on its head, with good transformed into evil and evil as good. The U.S. must cease funding and leave.
