Bloomberg – Turkey’s ruling AK Party has failed to win enough seats to form a single-party government for the first time since 2002, in the first electoral setback for the party and its founder, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
With 95 percent of votes counted, the AK Party is seen getting 259 seats in parliament, 17 short of the number needed to form a government alone, preliminary results published by the state-run Anadolu Agency show.
