Iran Continues Hostile Rhetoric Toward Israel Despite Nuclear Deal

JNS.org – Eight days after world powers reached a nuclear deal with Iran, Iranian leaders are continuing to engage in hostile—and at times threatening—rhetoric toward the Jewish state.

The official YouTube channel of of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei released a propaganda video this week claiming that the Iran deal does not guarantee Israel’s safety.

The video begins with footage of President Barack Obama stating that the U.S. “will continue our unprecedented efforts to strengthen Israel’s security.” The clip is followed by a voice-over from a speech by Khamenei superposed on a montage of blasting Iranian missiles.

“Israel’s security will not be ensured whether there will be a nuclear agreement or not,” Khamenei says in the video, which can be viewed below.
