US Urges Citizens to Stay Away From Northern Israel After Rocket Attacks

Haaretz – The U.S. Embassy in Israel urges Americans to “carefully consider and possibly defer travel in the Upper Galilee area of northern Israel and the northern part of Israeli-occupied Golan Heights,” following the rocket attack from Syria Thursday.

Four rockets were fired from Syria on Thursday afternoon, two of which exploded in open areas of Israel’s Golan Heights. The Israel Defense Forces responded with artillery fire, and identified a hit on the source of the rockets.
