“At no time have I suggested that somebody is a warmonger, meaning they want war,” Obama said in the webcast hosted by the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Obama added that if the Iran nuclear deal is rejected by Congress then he won’t have many options left except the military option.

“At that point we really don’t have options,” the president said. “We’re kind of flying blind. The logical conclusion is that for any president, me or my successor, to make sure that Iran’s not getting a nuclear weapon, I’m going to have to resort to some sort of military action because there aren’t going to be many other options left to us.”

However, Obama added that it is “not to suggest that opponents of this deal want war. It is a sober analysis of what options we have available to us.”

The address by Obama comes as the White House is sending a top Treasury Department official to Israel for meetings with Israeli leaders regarding the Iranian nuclear deal.

Adam Szubin, the acting undersecretary of treasury for terrorism and financial intelligence will meet with Israeli officials over the weekend, including Foreign Ministry director-general Dore Gold, National Security Adviser Yossi Cohen and Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Szubin, who is one of the most well-versed officials on the sanctions regime imposed on Iran, will stress to Israel the Obama administration’s commitment to bolstering defense cooperation with Israel, particularly as it relates to Iran’s sponsorship of terrorism.

obama generally knows what to say publicly. but, his private convictions will result in orders to a hump like ben rhodes or rice or jarrett or some other fool living in the fun zone to slander opponents of the deal. that’s the way it sometimes works: obama appears to take the high road while pushing a hump like rhodes to take a dive in the swamp. and, truth to tell, from appearances, rhodes seems to thrive on it; I thought he was a reptile but, really, on further consideration, I’d have to say amphibian…but, then again, some snakes can swim.

I appreciate his response but in case nobody noticed Barry initiated a boycott on us, nobody wants our weapons; not Israel, not Egypt and not Saudi they are all buying from Russia and China. Israelis are known for being cheap and aggressive imagine them not wanting US arms even if they are free with no strings. Of course America won’t benefit or Israel or even Iran (in the long run they cannot expect to do what they claim is their goal) but Russia and China are cleaning up and looking to buy your house at a discount.

“cheap and aggressive”? only a hateful swine could offer such a comment. a more informed observer would know that Israel has monumental defense needs and not very much in the way of resources to satisfy those needs. that’s not called “cheap,” that’s called budgetary constraint.

as for being “aggressive,” emmanuel strikes out there, as well. now, one can be certain that a hateful swine like emmanuel would tolerate mortal attacks upon himself and his family (oh, sorry, emmanuel doesn’t have a family…well, not a family of his own; you see, he’s 64, lives in his parents’ basement, plays video games, is often off his meds, and blames Israel and the Jews for the mess of his life), but, despite its unique forbearance, Israel must, sometimes, respond to attacks or the threat of attacks by people who have chosen to be Israel’s enemies. that’s not “aggressive,” that’s defensive, little man.
