JNS.org – Israel “has a right to maintain basic law and order and protect its citizens from knife attacks and violence on the streets,” President Barack Obama said Friday.

Yet at a press conference with visiting South Korean President Park Geun-hye, Obama also struck an evenhanded tone on the violence in Israel, calling on both the Israelis and Palestinians “to try to tamp down rhetoric that may feed violence or anger or misunderstanding.” Obama’s comments come amid widespread Israeli criticism of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for inciting violence.

Obama said that “all people in Israel and the West Bank” should “recognize that this kind of random violence is not going to result in anything other than more hardship or insecurity.”

“I don’t think we can wait for all the issues that exist between Israelis and Palestinians to be settled in order for us to try and tamp down on violence right now,” he said.

Other than continuing to exist, what exactly is Israel doing to incite this horrible Palestinian violence? I don’t understand why there can’t be unilateral condemnation of the Palestinians when they alone are responsible for behaving like barbarians. Every well-deserved chastisement of the Palestinians has to be tempered with a bizarre “evenhanded” condemnation of Israel.

In my opinion, Mahmoud Abbas is a dangerous fool for inciting violence.

Maybe, the Palestinians would be better off with a different leader. Israel is going to stay where it is and continue to flourish.

With a peaceful co-existence the Palestinians would also flourish.

Who is the beast spoken of by Daniel and revelation? Zechariah states in Zach 12 that he masses the forces who set siege to Israel. Are you looking at him? The innocent charming individual who claims to bring peace to the world. He is more deceptive than a snake because he is the root of the snake. Has the entire world has been bitten and attempting to recover from his poison. Is he the rider on the white horse?….or the beast spoken of by Daniel who warships a foreign god?
