JNS.org – The Jewish Broadcasting Service has published the full video of my interview with US Ambassador to Israel Daniel B. Shapiro at the 2015 General Assembly of The Jewish Federations of North America in Washington, DC. In a wide-ranging conversation that came a day before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama met at the White House last month, Shapiro told me regarding the much-debated relationship between the world leaders, “Frankly, I think that when history is written about this period, out of the day-to-day political narrative and the tensions that exist in both countries, I think the history will be kinder to [Obama and Netanyahu] and kinder to what they achieved together than what sometimes comes across in the day-to-day media coverage.”
