“We are fighting to save part of Yotam’s leg,” the Sitbon family, whose 15-month-old baby was wounded in a terrorist attack, told the Hebrew press Tuesday evening.

Yotam Sitbon was among 14 Israelis who suffered various degrees of injury when a Palestinian terrorist rammed his car into a crowd of people waiting at a Jerusalem bus stop on Monday afternoon.

“We still don’t know what what’s going to happen,” members of the family said, as they prayed in the hospital where the toddler was undergoing surgery on his lower extremity. “It’s not clear whether his body is going to reject the [nearly severed] limb.”

Israelis Get Down and Dirty at First-Ever ‘Mud Day’ Race in Tel Aviv

Around 5,000 people got down and dirty on Friday during Israel’s first-ever “Mud Day” race in Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park,...

Binyamin Sitbon, the child’s father – who immigrated to Israel from France six years ago — told a forum on the site Kikar Hashabat, “I was at work, and my sister-in-law phoned to say, ‘There was a terrorist attack; come quickly.’ So I grabbed a taxi and went straight to the hospital.”

His son, he said, “is a hero. It will work out, and he will be able to run again, God willing. My son and my wife were miraculously rescued. I still feel like this is a dream. I never believed such a thing would happened to me. I’m in shock.”

He concluded, “I hope my son will smile again.”

Now, HAmas are once again talking about suicide terrorism.
BIB should warn them, that if one person blows him/herself, gaza will be flaten, with no mrcy.
Hamas has made it quite clear that they want to kill every Jew and take over the land of Israel.

  • Sending you wishes for strength and hope, healing and faith.

i AM SURE THE WHOLE CIVILISED WORLD IS WITH YOU, AND PRAY THAT YOUR SON WILL RECOVER.
TIME TO CLEAR THE TERRROSTS OUT OF GOD GIVEN JEWISH LAND. PRAY THAT THAT EVIL BASTARD ABBAS MEETS THE SAME FEIGHT AS THE JEWS IN JERUSALEM HAVE SINCE HE LIED TO THE WORLD THAT THE JEWS ARRE TRYING TO DESTROY THE AL AKSA MOSQUE.
ABBAS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EVR TERRORIST ATTACK AGINST ISRAEL. HE IS ENCOURAGING THE TERRORISM.

THE TEACHERS IN THE SCHOOLS ARE TEAching jew hatred.
the imams are preaching how to kill Jews with a knife.
why have those bastards not been arrested and charged with war crimes.

one Candian paper wrote that the Jews are stabbing and killing the Palestinians and drivig cars into the innocent palestinians.
Is it no wonder when you get a news paper, which, I am sure must be owned by muslim, who call the Israelis killers, and the killers the victims. The world that has no idea of the truth, calls Jews and Israel baby killers

the hatred of Jews and Israel has spreaD SO FAST, THAT SOME JEWISH STUDNETS HAVE BECOME SUPPORTERS OF BDS.

I am so sorry about this. How absolutely traumatic. I have not stopped thinking about Yotam. I am at a loss as to what to say. Of course, thank G-d he and your wife are alive. I pray and hope that somehow he will be able to run and jump and walk. I would gladly give up my foot for him to have one.

We read about so many innocent civilians killed in the horrific terrorist attacks in Israel and we mourn their loss. Reports about the attack mention how many were killed and how many were wounded. While we are so saddened by the lives that were lost, what we often don’t comprehend, is the trauma that the wounded survivors of these vicious attacks have to deal with on a daily basis, as they try to piece their lives together again; lives that have been profoundly changed by an act of terror. My heart goes out to the family of this beautiful baby! May he have a complete recovery, become well and strong, and may he bring his family much joy! May Israelis be able to live their lives in safety and peace!

Let’s hope and pray for this baby. Where is Obama, Hillary or Kerry to denounce these attacks as being impediments to peace. Where are the Democrats in Congress to denounce abbas and the pa?

  • michelle kahn

Start revoking their Israeli citizenship as they are arrested for these horrific act, deport them and let them go and live with their neighboring cousins. Enough already! Enough!

Our prayers and love go with you.

While the media report in great detail when a young Arab attempting to conduct a terror attack is wounded by an alert guard, the traumatic injury to an eighteen month Israeli baby received very little publicity in the press. Is this representative of media bias, particularly in the New York Times. I can only hazard a guess.

The driver, the owner if the car, the insurance company, , the parents, the family members of the driver and off the car owner ALL guilty of contributory neglence. They all should be sued for the value if a leg and life ling suffering of the victim and his family.

  • brenrod

apparently they were safer in france where there is less muslim abuse and terror of Jews than in Israel under the netanyahu gov that seeks always not to make waves. Under BB the muslims terrorists, Jew abusers and harassers have free reign and even the muslim anti semites in the knesset are allowed to incite agianst Jews.
