Daily Mail – Bernie Sanders is trying to improve his standing with the African-American community in more ways than one.

In New York City this morning, just hours after he clobbered Hillary Clinton, gaining 60 percent of the Democratic vote in New Hampshire, he met with a possible new ally – powerful civil right activist Al Sharpton.

    Hilary Clinton ran against Obama. He was running as the first African American candidate and Clinton wanted to win against him. She didn’t seem to have any issue cheating African Americans out making such profound history. She wanted to win against him and said the same things about him as she is saying about Bernie. Same tactics. The only reason she is wrapping herself in Obama’s legacy is to win African American votes and Obama’s endorsement.

    Bernie Sanders has always aligned with social justice issues. He has always spoken out for civil rights. It’s just that he did it quietly, as a citizen, and in his own way, not using African Americans to win votes like the Clintons.
