“In recent years, we have seen some of our trading partners engage in a number of politically motivated, misguided commercial boycotts and sanctions against Israel,” Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-N.V.) along with other Democratic Sens. Charles Schumer (N.Y.), Ron Wyden (Ore.), Ben Cardin (Md.), Michael Bennet (Colo.), and Richard Blumenthal (Conn.), said in a statement.

The senators noted that “such actions run counter to longstanding U.S. policy” and that it is “incumbent upon the United States to use every diplomatic tool to stop our trading partners from imposing such misguided actions.”

On Feb. 24, when Obama signed into law the TPA and customs enforcement guidelines, he said his administration opposes the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. But the president simultaneously emphasized that his administration will not fight BDS movement efforts to end the Israeli presence beyond the 1967 lines.

“Certain provisions of this act, by conflating Israel and ‘Israeli-controlled territories,’ are contrary to longstanding bipartisan United States policy, including with regard to the treatment of settlements,” Obama said.

The Democratic senators, however, argued that the two laws are in fact aligned with U.S. policy on Israel.

“While the Obama administration has reiterated its opposition to boycotts, divestment campaigns, and sanctions targeting the State of Israel, it has mischaracterized the TPA and customs bill provisions as making a U.S. policy statement about Israeli settlements,” the senators said.

“This simply is not the case. These provisions are not about Israeli settlements,” they added.

Democrats must realize that by trying to enforce trade with those dealing in bad faith is a lost cause.
It is better Israel keep its main effort with friends.
BDS hurt Palestinians more than Israeli’s and the people who came up with BDS are just cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

Those provisions would run contrary to the caliphate and world subjugation to Islam. I am wondering when these liberal democrats are finally going to figure out the game is over. The game is over for the American legislaters who think they can make some sense out ofobamas actions without considering his religious preference. If it seems America cannot be forced in to some form of forced Islamic conversion it must be destroyed. Once the Christians with their guns and bibles have been neutralized by the liberals in this country they will have no defense against a form of true sharia that will be forced on every citizen of this country. The Christian bible preached against that which liberals represent but it does not call for their indiscriminate death. As I said before if it seems Trump is going to be elected…..that would stop forced conversion of America…..then America must be destroyed. Obama can kill two birds with one stone. If he throws a stone at Russia and Israel participates he will have successfully set the stage for the destruction of the great Satan and the little Satan. The mans religious mission in life, his calling, is for that purpose. The Arab Spring, the Syrian conflict, the migration of Muslims to Europe, , Isis, all were designed to further the caliphate and to destroy Israel first and then America, so heads up Israel you are walking an Obama guantlet. Study very carefully every move you make and realize it us an Obama chess game designed for your destruction, his strategy being the compassionate smile in Kerry’s face and his gentile voice consoling Israel with deceptive soothing sound bites as they lead you to the cliff.

If only the Democrats would stand up for stick to what’s right and stop protecting this anti-semite of a President. His true colors have really come out and as someone who stood for 5.5 hrs to vote for him in 2008, he’s turned out to be quite a disappointment as a President.

Did anyone actually think this President would do anything on behalf of Israel?

Unfortunately, Clinton has sworn to abide by Obama’s policies … so she will not be her own person and it will be more of the same. She tends to follow men, not lead.
