JNS.org – Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday told Kuwaiti Scoop TV that he opposes violence in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and is interested in negotiating directly with Israeli leaders.

“I will not enter a violent struggle. I will not ruin my people and my country. I will fight in the political field to reach my goal. I will never permit violent struggle against Israel and I am determined to prevent anyone from using weapons,” Abbas said in an interview conducted at his office in Ramallah.

Abbas admitted that the violence of the Palestinians’ second intifada (uprising) from 2000-2005 “ruined the country” and only gave the world “legitimacy to attack Palestinians.”

Despite Abbas’s disavowal of violence on Kuwaiti Scoop TV, Palestinian Media Watch has long documented how official radio and television stations from the PA as well as the Abbas-led Fatah faction consistently publish or air statements from Abbas and other Palestinian leaders declaring their support for violence against Israelis.

How absurd. This is a man who has spent some $70 million each year as a reward for those who have attacked Jews, who has publicly declared such people to be “glorious martyrs” and heroes, and who has personally been inciting violence by falsely claiming that Israel is changing the status of the Al Aqsa/Temple Mount compound. How can he now state that he “will never permit” violence against Israel? How is it that every sane person in civilized society does not laugh him off the stage?

Abbas is about to be steamrolled. Their are consequences for leading an insurrection and allowing your people to be lapdogs for the caliphate. Any statement you make is a lie from the bowels of hell. Your people starve and live like antisemitic pit bulls chained to a tree as the Saudis enjoy many wife’s, drive bmw’s, and live like Gods on earth….oh they throw you a bone occasionally, with no meat on it as you fight like hungry rats….after they have sufficiently beat you and starved you they then send you knifes and tell you Israel is the occupier. When are you going to wake up. What you do not need now is a leader who eats sardines and peanut butter while molesting children as he straps bombs on their backs. I guess when you compare Abbas to Arrafat you have made some progress…but not much.

If Abbas is serious why is he allowing Palestinians to run rampant and stab innocent Israelis and what is he doing about it? Enough rhetoric and more action is needed.
