New York Times – Ted Cruz was naming friends. Seated for an interview inside a stately Midtown Manhattan library, just south of Trump Tower, the Texas senator leaned forward in his chair, ticking off the unlikely coalition drifting his way.

There was Jeb Bush, who announced his endorsement in a terse predawn news release, and Mitt Romney, who initially said his support applied only to his voting preference in Utah.

    If there is any hope for USA to re-emerge as a positive force or role on the globe, it will be for Ted Cruz to succeed. It is heartening as a conservative and traditional American to see him stick to his guns and not capitulate to the existing political dictators who seem to think the country’s citizens should just settle for what is decided for them by a self appointed fraternal order. I hope Israel prays for Ted Cruz as the rebuilder of a strong alliance between US and Israel, especially in light of the growing Islamist threat against civilization.
