Chair of Ad Kan

Gilad Ach, who chairs the group Ad Kan (Hebrew for “No More”) has worked to expose the seedy underbelly of groups active in Israel that claim to be impartial NGOs but in fact have more nefarious motives, including B’Tselem and Breaking the Silence.

For instance, in early 2016, Ach’s organization was ultimately behind the probe of Ezra Nawi and his organization Ta’ayush, shown to have ensnared Palestinians in the West Bank to sell their land to Jewish buyers. Nawi, with the help of B’Tselem, had been conspiring with the Palestinian Authority to prevent Jews from buying land in territory it controls, all of which came to light in a major broadcast on Israeli television.

In the program, Nawi is taped on a hidden camera, openly admitting that the Palestinians he turns in – usually after entrapping them by pretending to be a prospective buyer – subsequently come to serious physical harm and even death.
