John Hagee

Founder and Chairman of CUFI

Under the leadership of Pastor John Hagee, founder and chairman of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) and head of Hagee Ministries, his organizations have distributed more than $95 million to Israeli and Jewish charities.

Hagee regards the “disastrous deal with Iran” as the biggest disappointment in CUFI’s history, considering the hard work CUFI and pro-Israel Jewish organizations put into defeating it. But the pastor insists that the organization, which has 2.8 million members, is “undeterred” and is using the defeat as a challenge to build momentum and expand the pro-Israel organization’s reach.

A true friend of Israel, one of CUFI’s top priorities is confronting growing on-campus animosity toward Israel and Jewish students.

When a San Antonio neighborhood was vandalized in 2015 with anti-Semitic graffiti, Hagee visited the crime scene and responded, “I want to say to all of the Christians in America, we stand with the Jewish people. An attack against this synagogue is an attack against Christians everywhere. If a line has to be drawn, draw it around both Christians and Jews, we are united.”
