Never mind the settlements, there is an urgent need for Abbas to say the same thing to his people as he does to the world at large. There is an urgent need for him to stop posturing and negotiate an everlasting peace deal with Israel, both the State of Israel and Abbas’s people will benefit. Both parties have to compromise, Abbas show the world you are true statesman like the late President Sadat of Egypt
