A steward from Air France has launched an online appeal against gay cabin members having to travel to Iran. It’s titled: “Gay stewards from Air France don’t want to fly to the death penalty in Iran.”

“Sure, our sexuality isn’t written on our passports and it doesn’t change the way we work as a crew,” wrote ‘Laurent M’ in an open letter to the French government and the CEO of Air France Frédéric Gagey.

    If Air France didn’t fly to any country with severe human rights issues they would have to stop flying to all Arab countries as well as Iran. In various Arab countries women are stoned to death, people are beheaded, amputated, honour killed, given up to 1,000 or even 2,000 lashes for criticising Islam, women are punished for being raped, fatwas are issued asking the public to murder critics of Islam, gays are thrown off high buildings….. When it comes to making money the West overlooks human rights.
