what good is it to buy iran’s supply of heavy water, without shutting down the plant that produced it (and can produce more), or the plutonium reactor that it was intended to be used in? that’s almost as useless as unplugging the centrifuges that produced iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium, and not dismantling them. it’s just another case of kicking the problem down the road.
