At one of Israel’s many Memorial Day ceremonies throughout the country on Wednesday morning, Defense Minister Ya’alon reiterated his position on ethical rules of engagement, the Hebrew news site Walla reported.

Addressing a service at the Kiryat Shaul Cemetery in Tel Aviv, Ya’alon said, “Over the past several months, Israel has been confronted with a wave of Palestinian terrorism, which indeed has been on a down-slide of late, but is liable to erupt anew. Even during the difficult moments, in which our blood boils and our rage is high, woe to us if we lose our way and our values, the compromising of which would likely bring Israel to the abyss.”

Ya’alon then directed: “Exercise force when necessary, but also understand its limits and its ability to lead to a dulling of the senses. Ensure the purity of arms and retain humanity, and let us not lose our heads.”

Do not go as far as the U.S. And neuter your forces with rules that favor the enemy. We are on such a high road we are assured defeat at anything we attempt to do. Political correctness will be the end of America. As far as Israel being on the precipice of the abyss take a good look around you….your already their. When your enemy reads an article such as this they smell weakness even though you are attempting to insert a form of compassion and sensibility in seeing to it that your forces incorporate those characteristics. If Trump gets elected Israel can put their finger on the trigger and defend themselves indiscriminately as long as Obama is in office Israel will be criticized for any and everything they do. My advise to Israel, hang on, help is on the way.

There is no question that the destruction of most civilizations results from the moral decay from within, not from the enemy from without.
