Louisiana, Minnesota, Baltimore, Missouri and now Dallas. How many more killings and murders must take place in the limelight of social media before America comes to its senses? We are drowning in an ocean of useless and meaningless words in attempting to comprehend why this is happening with such ongoing regularity and viciousness — and trying to figure out when it will stop, assuming it can.

The lives of black American citizens are shown to be irrelevant and cheap when confronting the law and order system, showing there is very little law or order for this community. But the killing of the Dallas police officers by a returning, highly trained and decorated American serviceman from Afghanistan should frighten us no less. Some are claiming America is in the midst of a civil war.

It used to be that America was a melting pot for all groups, ethnicities and religions. This is no longer true, as America has morphed from that cultural melting pot into a dysfunctional shooters gallery, where blacks and whites have become the intended victims.

And America has no answer to all these tragedies. We hear the true and tried political responses about gun control, approbations of disgust and horror, the same pictures of groups hugging each other, protests, lighting candles, etc.

And when the issue is not cops-versus African Americans, it’s the mass-killers breaking into schools, theaters and shopping malls, and mowing down innocents before taking their own lives. We have become a nation in which No Lives Matter.

America is drowning in an ocean of blood, and there is absolutely no one out there in the public arena who has the integrity, respect, and political courage to lead this divided country into healing, trust, and belief. There is nothing more to believe in, and nothing to be hopeful about.

And the shame of it all is that as the potential contenders for the presidency continue to ride the coattails of an America that is great, recents events show this is not the case. Is there anyone out there who can save America from itself?
