A group of anti-Hillary Clinton protesters outside of the Democratic National Convention burned Israeli and American flags, while chanting “Black Lives Matter,” and “Long Live Palestine,” eyewitnesses reported.

According to these reports, documented on cell-phone cameras and uploaded to Facebook and Twitter, pro-Bernie Sanders demonstrators, unhappy with Clinton’s nomination as Democratic presidential candidate, also waved placards reading: “From the river to the sea, Palestine must be free,” a slogan employed to call for the elimination of the state of Israel.

Meanwhile, as The Algemeiner reported, inside the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, where the DNC is being held, Palestinian flags were prominently displayed. Activists at the venue were seen holding up signs reading, “I support Palestinian human rights.”

In addition, as Conservative bloggers pointed out, DNC organizers capitulated to protesters demanding the removal of the Mississippi state flag, which depicts the Confederate standard.

Cooperation between the Black Lives Matter movement and anti-Israel groups — like Students for Justice in Palestine – which support Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions efforts has been widely touted and documented.

Among those tweeting about the flag-burning outside the DNC was Wall Street Journal reporter Byron Tau, who also wrote, “Most pro-Bernie protesters are just holding candles and singing. Only a tiny few interested in burning things.”

The DNC began on Monday and continues until Thursday.

Among the first news outlets to report on the incident was Iran’s Press TV. Watch its coverage below.

Considering the avidity of these leftwing communists I believe they think a communist such as sanders will make them rich, pay their tuitions etc. which of course is totally wrong. Making the rich poor or run away from America will make them poorer and on top of that muslims which means “citizens” with no rights.

  • Those who burn flags have no problem burning people.

Welcome to the liberal & democratic crowd delivering free speech.

They burn flags because they would like to burn people but presently cannot. As soon as they can they do burn people.

Who does more harm to the image of Jews and of Israel, some rabblerousers who burn the Israeli flag or people who declare themselves “proudly” Jewish and staunchly pro-“Jewish state” but who live lives inconsistent with Jewish teachings?

    • Jay, you sound like the archetypal over-educated self-hating Jew. I’ll wager you live a life inconsistent with being a man, a stand-up Jew, and rather a life consistent with being a submissive, placating dhimmi who bows in servile acquiescence to loud proud Jew-haters. Get out of mom’s basement and grow a spine. Stand up for yourself and your own.

      • I believe you didn’t get his point, however cryptic his words are. He is standing for Jews Practicing Judaism I think.
Much like born again Christians judging Catholics or Protestant Bad Christians.
One can be a totally observant Jew and a Zionophobe.
I am curious about his stance on Israel.
