Vogue magazine on Wednesday profiled an Israeli Instagram hit who is being compared to reality TV star Kylie Jenner.

Like the youngest sister of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Liron Eini , 22, often uploads photos that draw attention to her pronounced waist, hips and pouty lips. Both women have gone through a variety of rainbow-toned hair colors and gravitate towards clothes that display large logos. Eini and Jenner also have the same birthday, Aug.10. However, according to Vogue, while Eini has amassed 16,000 Instagram followers, Jenner has close to 71 million.

Eini, who lives in the town of Karmiel, disputes the comparison. “I love [Jenner], and I think she’s beautiful, but I really don’t think we have any similarities besides our birthday,” she said.

Eini told Vogue that though her style is popular on Instagram, “People in Israel are not used to my style. I’m too much for some. I don’t live in Tel Aviv, so they either laugh or stare, not knowing what they are looking at. They don’t get the colored hair or the clothes.”

More Than 6-in-10 Arab News Poll Respondents Think Gal Gadot a Good Choice to Play Cleopatra

i24News - Gal Gadot's casting as ancient Egyptian queen Cleopatra created a Twitter storm last week, but the announcement left...

Talking about the warm embrace she receives from social media followers, Eini said, “I appreciate those comments a lot, since I don’t get that so often in real life. A year ago, I got some Palestinian followers who showed me so much love for my style on Instagram. I felt like it was breaking barriers for me, and I guess it did, because they are like family to me right now.”

Eini, who paints and draws, said her personal style developed greatly during her mandatory military service. She said that spending all that time wearing her “dull and monotonous” IDF uniform, she “had no way to execute” the many fashion ideas she had.

After completing her service, she said, “I had this actual ‘color blast,’” a term she uses to describe her style. When she dyed a pair of men’s military boots pink — as a way of “creat[ing] something beautiful and delicate from an item that represents war” — she was nicknamed “Hello Kitty Forces soldier.”

Eini uses embroidery to customize her clothing and much like Jenner, who started her own makeup company, she hopes her followers will remain loyal as she endeavors to start a business.

“Eventually, I want to create things from zero,” she said.
