JNS.org – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel was facing constant cyber attacks, but was a leader in the cyber security field.

“Israel is experiencing every month dozens of attacks on the national level,” from “the usual suspects” and “others,” Netanyahu said during the 2017 Cyber Week conference at Tel Aviv University.

The prime minister said that a few years ago, he “decided to turn Israel into one of the leading cyber powers in the world and I think by all accounts, we’re there.”

“This a fast geometrically rising market,” he said, explaining that the field is constantly changing and “there is never a permanent solution” to cyber attacks.
