Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when the Israeli leader visits Moscow on Jan. 29, the RIA news agency cited a Kremlin spokesman as saying on Thursday.
Putin and Netanyahu have met numerous times since Russia’s military intervention in Israel’s northeastern neighbor, Syria, began in 2015.
They last met in this past August, in Sochi, where Netanyahu cautioned Putin that Iran’s effort to establish a military foothold in Syria posed an international security risk.
