A stray cat painted blue was found wandering the streets of Tel Aviv’s Florentine neighborhood on Saturday, the Hebrew news site Mako reported.

After being alerted to the situation, Stav Nachmias — a local animal rights activist — was able to catch the feline and bring him to a veterinarian for medical treatment and a thorough cleaning.

Nachmias is now trying to find an adoptive home for the cat.

“I would like the person who painted the cat blue to feel what it’s like to be painted,” Nachmias was quoted by Mako as saying.

Nachmias noted that she did not file a police report, as the police “don’t do anything about much bigger things.”
