Israel is marking its 70th birthday with a series of commemorative coins.

According to Israel’s Channel 2, the coins will be released in one, two, and ten-shekel denominations. The two stripes of the Israeli flag will appear on the coins with the denomination between them.

The other side will show a Star of David, the number 70, and the word “Israel.” Below appears the phrase, “Legacy of renewal.”

Along the rim of the coins is the phrase “70 years of the State of Israel” in three languages — Hebrew, Arabic, and English.

Channel 2 quotes the Governor of the Bank of Israel Dr. Karnit Flug saying of the coins, “Israel has made enormous economic achivements in its 70 years. On the eve of the state’s 70th Independence Day, which the Bank of Israel is marking by the striking of special commemorative coins, there stand before us a great many social and economic challenges, but we also have more than a few things of which to be proud.”

Jehovah G_d covenanted with Israel and He keeps His promises.

And the Hosts of the Lord departed Egypt that night four hundred and thirty years to the day of when Jacob and the family of Israel came into Egypt.
It is a night to be much observed. Jehovah is the God of the Hebrews.

Jehovah G_d said He would regather His people and make a new covenant with them. Jeremiah 31:31. He will rejoin the House of Israel with the House of Judah.

Thus saith the Amen, the faithful and true Witness to the Creation of G_d.
