Israeli Military Publishes Footage of Strike on Syrian Aerial Defense System

Israel’s air strikes in Syria overnight Wednesday — in response to an Iranian missile attack on the Golan Heights — included the targeting of some of the Assad regime’s Russian-made aerial defense systems.
On Thursday, the IDF published a video of a strike on a SA-22 battery.

Earlier on Thursday, an Israeli military spokesperson, Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, tweeted that that the IDF “remains ready for various scenarios but does not seek to escalate the situation.”
