Israel is a “rare jewel” that is “one of the best things going for the Middle East,” a Australian television host declared recently.

Ross Cameron — a former Liberal Party parliamentarian — made the comment during an episode of “Outsiders,” a show he co-hosts on Sky News Australia.

“Wherever you are in the world, if you have a Jewish neighbor, say, ‘God bless you,’” Cameron continued. “When you see a Jew walking on the street you should recognize an ancestor of King David, and say this is absolutely the most awesome story of human survival ever written.”
