Kim Kardashian may not observe Passover but she enjoys one of its staple dishes: matzoh brei. While in New York promoting a film, The Wall Street Journal observed Kardashian “as she snacked on some matzo and butter that had been laid out on the table for those observing Passover.” WSJ then dug deeper. “As it turns out, matzo brei, which is made with softened matzo fried with eggs, is one of Ms. Kardashian’s favorite foods. She gets the dish on a regular basis at Nate ‘n Al’s in Beverly Hills, Calif. ‘I like it better than the regular matzo crackers,’ she said.”
The last time Kardashian threw her support behind a Jewish cause it got her into a bit of trouble. Here’s hoping her gastronomic affinities are welcomed with a more kosher response.
