Marvin Hier
Founder, Simon Wiesenthal Center
The founder and current dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Hier has developed and leads one of the foremost Jewish human rights organizations in the world. In the past year the rabbi reproached the Ukrainian government for its overtly anti-Semitic characterization of Hollywood starlet Mila Kunis and continued to oversee the construction of the $100 million Museum of Tolerance in Israel. All this in addition to his continued support of those in need of a voice and offering a pillar of support to those in their moment of weakness.
