As Israeli and Palestinian leaders meet to outline terms of a peace agreement today in Washington, the Palestinian Authority’s ruling Fatah party continued to incite violence against Israelis and praise terrorists via its official media platforms.
On an official Fatah Facebook page, a post highlights Palestinian female terrorists and the Palestinian woman, defining her as the “[female] master of the world.” It also praised her for being “the Palestinian woman who gave herself only as a Martyr.”
The post includes pictures of three women, who are presented as examples of this “heroic” Palestinian woman. The three women are notorious terrorists: Dalal Mughrabi, Ayyat Al-Akhras and Laila Khaled, according to Palestinian Media Watch, which discovered the posts.
Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history in 1978, when she and other terrorists hijacked a bus and killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children. Ayyat Al-Akhras, at age 17, was the youngest female Palestinian suicide bomber. She killed 2 Israelis and injured 28 in a suicide bombing near a Jerusalem supermarket on March 29, 2002. Laila Khaled was a PFLP terrorist who participated in the hijacking of TWA flight 840 in 1969.
The terrorists are pictured with a rifle, a pistol and wearing an ammunition belt, respectively.
On Sunday, the Israeli Cabinet approved a plan to free 104 Palestinian convicts, responding to a Palestinian Authority demand for reviving peace talks. According to Palestinian statistics, there are 15 Palestinian women currently serving prison sentences in Israel out of 5,100, in total.
