IDF Soldiers Jailed for Abusing Palestinian

Times of Israel – A military court in Jaffa sentenced two IDF soldiers from the Golani Brigade to several months in prison on Tuesday for attacking a bound Palestinian after he was captured crossing the border from Gaza into Israel.
One soldier was sentenced to six and a half months behind bars and the other to five and half months, for their respective roles in the May 2012 incident. The soldiers were both demoted to the rank of private.
