Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James expressed interest in visiting Israel someday, local news site Cleveland.com reported on Sunday.

Speaking to Israeli reporters before the Cleveland Cavaliers’ preseason debut against Maccabi Tel Aviv, the NBA star said he had never visited the Jewish state but “I want to look forward to going there if I get an opportunity to.”

When asked by an Israeli reporter if there was “any chance that LeBron James and Cleveland comes to Tel Aviv,” the athlete said it was “not my decision” and that he had “no idea.”

According to the report, the Israeli journalists also asked the Olympic gold medalist several questions about Cavaliers coach David Blatt, who was Maccabi’s coach for six years up until last season. After answering a few of the questions, James said, “You guys know the new coach more than I do. I’ve only been with him for a couple weeks.”

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 107-80 on Sunday in the preseason game at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
