Founder of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel

Dumisani Washington is one of the most visible and passionate leaders of the growing African-American movement in solidarity with Israel. He is the founder of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI,) dedicated to enhancing relations between the Jewish state and people of African descent, while opposing and condemning the “Zionism-is-racism ideology.” In that regard, Washington proudly upholds the legacy of America’s greatest civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, who identified Israel as “one of the great outposts of democracy in the world.”
