A viral video that surfaced online Sunday shows Israeli soldiers encountering stiff resistance during a game of pick-up street soccer against a group of Palestinian children. In the footage, the IDF patrol tries its best to maintain control of the ball, but again and again, the Palestinian youths show superior footwork and soccer skills.
The video was posted by the Israeli news and analysis site IMRA and shows a widely under-reported side of the IDF’s relations with civilian populations.
