Over the past two weeks, Israeli and Czech special forces soldiers conducted a joint urban warfare training exercise at the Tze’elim base in the Negev Desert.
The IDF contingent was from the elite Duvdevan unit, which is known for its undercover operations. The drill took place at a facility the IDF calls “Little Gaza.”
Among other things, the soldiers practiced maneuvering in narrow alleys and taking over “suspicious” buildings, the IDF said on its website.
