Who knew Moses looked so much like Snoop Lion (aka Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Doggy Dogg)? In a new video for the YouTube series “Epic Rap Battles of History,” that’s the case, as the famed rapper, in biblical guise, faces off against Santa Claus. The battle is more an exchange of insults, with Santa rapping “I represent cheer. You represent sandals and a scraggly beard.” But alas, be not forlorn, Moses gets his own jabs in. “It takes nine reindeers to haul your fat a**. You took the Christ out of Christmas and just added more mass.”

The series pits figures from history–both real and imagined–against one another in a rap battle format.
