Bezalel is a survivor of the Transnistria death camp where he was interned from 1941 to 1944. He received rabbinic ordination from Yeshivah Torah Vodaath and masters degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. He is a contributing columnist for the Jewish Press, dos Yidishe Vort, and the Algemeiner Journal. Arriving in the US in 1946 he now resides in Kew Gardens.
