Winnick is a noted name in the field of chemical engineering, serving as a consultant to industry and NASA in their Life Sciences Division for over 40 years. An accomplished professor of Chemical Engineering, Winnick has taught at several prestigious universities including the University of Missouri, Georgia Tech, UCLA, The University of Southern California, and The University of California, Berkeley. He is also the author of a globally-used textbook: Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics(Wiley, 1996) and has several patents in the areas of environmental protection and electrochemical engineering. Winnick is also a professional actor appearing in multiple stage and screen productions.
