Kara Bieber

Kara Bieber was born in England and brought up on a farm in Sussex. She is the daughter of Travel Photographer, Joey Bieber. Her first solo exhibition of photographs took place when she was twelve. This was followed by showings at her mother's Exhibitions in Paris and Copenhagen, with Mother and Daughter shows held in Israel and in England. Since then she has exhibited at large in Italy. Aged nineteen, she was named Woman Photographer of the Year at the Venice International Photographic Competition 2005, at which she also won a Portrait Prize. Her pictures were included in a travelling Exhibition showing in Venice, Egypt, USA and South America, and one of her winning photographs was used to promote the competition. She lived in Florence, Italy, for five years, where she studied at Studio Quagli taking a Masters in Fashion Photography. Since then she has lived in Buenos Aires and Tel-Aviv and now resides in London, working as a free-lance photographer. Her website is www.karabieber.com.
